Congratulations! Vishal Sonkar goes home with Dance Deewane 2 trophy

And the cat is out! 21-year-old Vishal Sonkar has been announced as the winner of the dance reality show Dance Deewane 2. The show which was judged by Madhuri Dixit, Shashank Khaitan and Tushar Kalia came to an end a few minutes ago, with its gala grand finale. Vishal who was a food delivery guy, entered the competition for his mother as she has arthritis and cannot walk properly. Since his first performance, Vishal made it clear that he is entering the show only for his mother and won't leave without winning the trophy. And he did. In the grand finale he was announced as winner of the second season.

While, Vishal won trophy he has also won several hearts with his earnest performances. Here are a few glimpses of Vishal's performances that won hearts.

Vishal Sonkar hailed from the second generation of the dancers. In the beginning of the show, he was also given financial support by show judge Shashank Khaitan.

The grand finale was a memorable one as it also saw Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra visiting the dance show as a special guest. The actress danced with Madhuri Dixit on Pinga and Dola Re Dola. The team of Dance Deewane also dedicated a special act for the actress which also involved his father Ashok Chopra.
